Yesterday AA Net was at 1200Z on 14059 it was nice to have again OM Vasa 4S7VG and OM Steve JS6TMW and then QSY to 10123 where I could only hear OM Vasa but not OM Steve. But I think no one could hear me on 30m. OM Vasa was going to be QRV again today, but I did not hear him today.
Today All Asia Net at 1200-1210Z on 14059 I once heard a very weak station, now I believe it may have been VU2UR, according to OM Arasu VU2UR report here. So at 1210Z I moved to AA Net 10123 kHz and called CQ AA Net. There was some confusion because at first I could hear VU2UR with RST 229. But Yo San and Steve San could not hear me at first, or our frequency was a little different.
It was nice that Yo San JL1MUT and Steve San JS6TMW could manage QSO on the net. But I think conditions were poor for you both, because I heard Yo San give Steve San RST 339.
Then W5ZR OM Bert checked in with RST 579 and gave me RST 569 QSB, using 200W to his wonderful 2ele Quad beam in Louisiana. A dream antenna on any band! It was very nice of you to join us today OM Bert and I hope you will do more often, I guess it was very early morning time for you. OM Bert W5ZR could not hear other stations on the net.
I called again several times to OM Arasu VU2UR, and I was so pleased to hear you, if only RST 229. I thought I copied 439 but wasn't sure, now I got your confirmation in this forum that you gave me RST 339. I'm sorry Yo San JL1MUT could not hear you and it seems you also could not hear him, because he was on from 1217Z and you heard me calling you again at 1218Z.
I continued to call many times, slightly off frequency from Yo San, and it was during these calls, that OM Bert W5ZR perhaps heard me and also called in. Unfortunately I could not hear OM Steve JS6TMW. My noise level was about S6 but less in narrow filter, tonight I was fortunate with the noise level. There was also some mild SSB QRM from somewhere.
It seems Monday may be a good time for this net to concentrate on, and we hope to revive CW activity and Asia-Asia QSO via the All Asia Net every Monday especially, from 1200Z on 14059 kHz and if nothing we move from 1210Z to 10123 kHz, so effectively there may be 2 nets depending on participation and propagation. Hope to see you next week! All welcome!
