This week, 3 stations were on the SSN-3: JL1MUT, VK5EEE, VK6RR. Conditions this week were poor for us on 30m but good, although with lots of QSB, on 20m:

We were sad that 5T0JL/ON8RA, Great OT Jean J. Lewuillon is SK at the beginning the net.
The Region 3 SSN was going to expecting to hear his keying again this autumn on long path propagation.
We will never hear his keying.
30m, band condx was poor.
Lou San was not solid and had bad QRM.
We had to QSY back to 14349khz again.
Lou San was better to RST569 just before the end of the net.

20m was good condx but
30m not.
We missed VK4BGR, George San on 30m.
I had SSB QRMs on our frequency. It made me to be hard to copy VK5EEE, Lou San.
We had to QSY back to 14349khz at 0950utc.
Lou San went down to RST329 at 1001 utc, the end of the net. The condx was not hold longer even 20m.
Thanks, dear George San and Lou San.

30m was poor condx.
I hardly copied VK7CW, Steve San. I made QRO to 200w output.
20m was very poor before but good today.
The band condx may be changed. It is the end of August almostly today.
Thanks, dear Steve San, dear Lou San and dear Roy San.

Let's remember at 0900 UTC 14349 followed by 0930 UTC 10123+ kHz Region 3 Side Swiper Net — ALL CW stations welcome to join in. Net Control Station: JL1MUT Yoichi san
The result is shown as follows.
No check-in station was heard until 0935utc.
I called CQ SSN on 20 and 30m alternately.
0900 - 0911utc 14349khz
0912 - 0917utc 10121.5khz
0918 - 0921utc 14349khz

7J1ATG/2 439
VK5EEE 439 SSB QRM
The QTH of 7J1ATG/2 was Izu which is not far from my QTH, Southern part of Tokyo area.
I guess that the distance is below 100km.
It may be too close to communicate on 30m.
I lost him soon.
I asked VK5EEE to call 7J1ATG/2 but we didn't find his call back.
The band condx to VK5EEE was poor and SSB QRM was heard sometimes.
It was very hard to keep VK5EEE at the end of the net.
We closed the net at 1008utc.
Thanks for 7J1ATG/VK4BGR, George San and VK5EEE, Lou San.

The result of SSN Region3 on Sep. 17th 2017 is shown as follows.
0900 - 0910utc
14349khz
I put out CQ SSN several times and heard no reply. And then QSY to 30m.
0911 - 0921utc
10121.5khz
I put out CQ SSN several times.
JM1KFD, non-SSN station replied to my CQ SSN.
We exchanged regular informations, RST signal report, name, QTH, rig and antenna.
And then I continued to put out CQ SSN and received e-mail from VK7CW, Steve San at 0924utc.
VK7CW reported me about the band condx at his QTH, which was poor.
I did QSY 20m again.
0928 - 1014utc
14349khz
VK7CW
100w + hex beam
Home brew cootie key
JL1MUT 589
JL1MUT

Steve San checked 14349khz at 0910utc at the first but it seemed to be the thing after I QSY 30m.
20m was excellent band condx.
We enjoyed the chat checking others with CQ SSN.
We tried to QSO on 160m at 1030utc.
It was failed.

The result is shown as below.
VK5EEE, VK4BGR and JL1MUT, 3 stations joined the net.

VK4BGR 100 NIL
VK4BGR
JL1MUT 589

The band condx was excellent on 20m tonight.
I guess that VK4BGR, George San had the trouble with his transmitter.
The response of his transmission was not smooth and the ripple was heard on his signals.
VK6RR, Roy San received my signals at RST549 but I guessed that his noise level was high.
VK5EEE, Lou San told me about it for the QSP. I guess that Lou San communicated to Roy San through the inter net.
0933 - 0944utc
10121.5khz
VK5EEE
JL1MUT 489 career QRM
JL1MUT
VK5EEE 469 career QRM
We had career QRM on bothside and QSY back to 140349khz at 0945utc and kept the QSO until at 0953utc.
This late afternoon, I worked LZ, OK, I, HB9, DL and EA via LP at 0700 - 0830utc before the net.
20m was so excellent.
I hope to hear Europeans on the net.

I didn't copy Steve San, VK7CW for much city noise.
I used 20m yagi for receiving and managed to copy him at RST529.
We did QSY back to 14349khz at 0947utc for poor band condx.

Thanks for the chat, dear Steve San.
