I became a radio amateur in 1983 with the callsign G1CUU, having been introduced to the hobby some years earlier by my uncle Kevin G4DON (SK). 

After a break from the hobby, I passed the morse code test and became MØDHP in 2003.  I was active for five years, mainly in digimodes and satellites, and got my DXCC.

Since getting back into the hobby in 2018, I have focused on SOTA and WWFF activating and chasing, and improving my CW.
